This Firefighter Hero WOD is dedicated to Michael Otten, FDNY, Ladder 35, who was killed on September 11, 2001.
Michael J. Otten, 42, of East Islip, was a New York City firefighter with Ladder Co. 35 on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. The firehouse, which also houses Engine 40, lost 11 firefighters. Otten’s remains were not recovered.
